Theatre

We’re excited to share with you an opportunity to support the theatre program here at UNW. Your generosity has a direct impact on our students, supporting them in practical ways:

• The Theatre Study Tour: Every other May students take a trip to either New York or London to experience professional theater. Students explore, meet with artists, view theater, visit historical sites, engage in classroom sessions and experience everything that particular city has to offer.
• KCACTF: Our theatre students travel to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival to compete with colleges and universities from around the Midwest.
• USITT: Attend the United States Institute for Theatre Technology regional conference. USITT connects performing arts design and technology communities to ensure a vibrant dialogue among practitioners, educators, and students. We've seen students who attend this conference come away with job offers in the industry.

These tours, festivals, and conferences are paid for by our students. We’re asking you to consider partnering with us and supporting the students financially by donating. Your donations will go directly to fund these tours for our theatre students.
