School of Education Student Teaching Scholarship

This year's Eagle Giving Day funds raised toward the School of Education will go to the Student Teaching Scholarship, a Northwestern Endowed Scholarship that provides financial support to students during their student teaching semester. Student teachers need the opportunity to focus on student teaching as their primary responsibility. While limiting work hours and activity involvement has always been a strategy for accomplishing this, the increasing financial pressures faced by our students makes achieving this goal especially challenging. Students receiving the scholarship must be enrolled full-time in good standing and be fully admitted to the student teaching program.

Additional support for this scholarship will allow the School of Education to expand the number of students who may receive support during their semester of student teaching.
