Upgrade the Game Room: A Student Government Initiative

Where did you hang out with your friends in college? Today, when UNW students want to grab a few friends for ping-pong or video games, they usually don’t head to the game room. It’s old, run-down, and the equipment is, let’s say, “well-loved.”

We believe God made us for community, and a lot of college friendships start simply by hanging out. As Student Government, our mission is to build community at UNW and serve others the way Christ did. A great place to gather, relax and play together is one practical way to do that. So we’re leading the upgrade, including moving the game room into a fresh space in the classroom next door, and we’re asking for your help to make it happen.

Here’s what your gifts will make possible. Every level builds on the last:

• Up to $5,000: Fresh paint and a few new pieces of furniture
• $5,000–$10,000: A larger furniture update
• $10,000–$15,000: A complete furniture refresh, plus new lighting and carpet
• $15,000–$20,000: All of the above, plus upgraded game equipment and new games
