Baseball

UNW Baseball had a strong 2026 season, with a young group finishing 3rd in the UMAC regular season and earning a spot in the UMAC postseason tournament.

Our student-athletes earned five UMAC postseason honors, along with six NCCAA All-Region selections and two NCCAA All-American honors, earned by Dreyer Homan and Jack Burns. Senior Dreyer Homan was also the recipient of the Hank Burbridge Award and was named the 2025-26 Male Eagle Award winner, recognizing the top UNW male student-athlete based on academic honors, athletic accomplishments, and ministry involvement.

Our success extended well beyond the baseball field. This past spring, 23 student-athletes earned All-UMAC Academic honors by maintaining a GPA of 3.50 or higher. UNW Baseball also recorded the top team GPA among the conference baseball teams and was recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) with the Team Academic Excellence Award.

We are committed to building on these achievements and continuing the proud tradition of UNW Baseball while providing our student-athletes with an outstanding experience on and off the field.

This Giving Day, we are seeking your support to help upgrade our team jackets for the many cold days we spend on the ball field, as well as support other areas that directly enhance the experience of our baseball student-athletes.
